The Three of the Year Europe 2022 contest


The European Tree of the Year contest originated in 2011 and the winners of the national rounds always participate in the European round finale.

The online voting for the European Tree of the Year is organized, every year in February, by the Environmental Partnership Association (EPA).

The first European voting took place in 2011, and recently the competition will also be established in Countries outside the European continent.

For 2022, the tree representing Italy will be the Chestnut of the 100 Horses, winner of the Italian Tree of the Year 2021 competition.

The results of the European competition will be anounced at the Award Ceremony the 22nd of March, where the winners will be revealed.
